The Hedgehogs and the Storm

       Tonight was stormy and foggy. Lightning flashed in the sky, heavy downpour flooded the land, and of course there's one of Sonic's biggest fears, which is thunder. He was spending the night at Shadow's house due to the fact that the power went out at his house.

*Thunderclap*

Sonic: GAH!!! *falls out of the chair*

Shadow: Damn Sonic! All that because of a little thunder?!

Sonic: I-I- I don't like thunder.

Shadow: You mean you're afraid of thunder?

Sonic: No, I j-just... *shivers*

Shadow: *talk in a baby voice* Aw, will a kiss make Sonikku feel better?

Sonic: NO!!!

Shadow: Are you sure?

Sonic: Yes. I'm not afraid of thunder.

Shadow: Are you sure you ar s-

Sonic: Can we drop the subject please?!

Shadow: Fine.

*Thunderclap*

         The thunder was so loud, Sonic jumped into Shadow's arms.

Sonic: *looks at Shadow* Uh...

Shadow: You say you are not afraid of thunder, but what the hell was that?

Sonic: It just caught me by surprise is all.

Shadow: Mmm hmm. Yeah right.

Sonic: Really.

Shadow: Sure, whatever.

Sonic: Can you put me down now?

Shadow: *puts Sonic down*

          Another roll of thunder flooded the house along with a huge flash of lightning, with caused a power outage.

Shadow: Well this is great!

Sonic: *groans* I'll get the flashlight from the table.

          The azure hedgehog grabs what he THINKS is the flashlight.

Shadow: You do realize that's not the flashlight right?

Sonic: Then what is- Oh my God! Please tell me this is not what I think it is!

Shadow: You mean my tail?

Sonic: Oh.

           All of a sudden, the lights came back on.

Shadow: Phew! Finally!

*Thunderclap*

Sonic: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shadow: Shhh. It's okay, I'm right here. *conforts Sonic*

Sonic: Thanks Shads. *thinks to himself* Why is he being so nice?

Shadow: You're welcome. Are you okay now? *thinks to himself* I bet he's wondering why I'm being so nice.

Sonic: Yeah, I'm okay. I think I'll go to bed now. *yawns*

Shadow: Okay, but before you do, I-

Sonic: Can it wait 'til morning? *yawns again* I'm really tired after all that screaming.

Shadow: But Sonic-

Sonic: Goodnight Shadow.

Shadow: But I really-

Sonic: I SAID GOODNIGHT!!!

Shadow: Goodnight Sonic. *sighs and thinks to himself* I really wanted that kiss.
